We started Away at the Bay Charters to give people unique experiences on the Chesapeake Bay. There is so much to see and so many ways to celebrate an occasion or just a great day out on the water. Whether renting the boat for personal use, or having a captained charter, do it your way on the bay!
Experiences Offered:
2 hour rental $400
4 hour rental $650
8 hour rental $950
All bookings include gas in price. Ice, towels, sunscreen, life jackets, & first aid are provided.
Max occupancy is around 6 adults, or 4 adults, 4 kids.
Boat operator must have their boater safety card.

Captained trips are an additional $55/hour.
Check back here for possible trips on your boat day! We’re testing out and programing trips into the gps, so all you have to do is decide what you want your day to look like, and we’ll get you there!
Types of trips: check out a local river beach (with fun beach bar along the shore), bounce between dock restaurants on Kent Narrows, cruise down to historic Chestertown, explore the nature reserve at Wye Island, and more!
